Born in Ottumwa, Iowa (home of the infamous Radar O'Rielly), Dustin is an accomplished low-down string tickler. He’s a self-taught musician but owes his years of experience and gratitude to playing with and learning from Dave Moore. After years of woodsheding country blues on the farm, he’s backed songwriters around Iowa
City, Iowa and the Midwest. Dustin moved to Tucson for the music and diversity where he plays with The 17th Street Band, performs solo shows, and operates his own instrument repair shop in downtown Tucson. After enjoying the successes of the Always…Patsy Cline shows of ’04 and ’05, he is excited to escape the heat of Tucson and join The Old Creamery Theatre for The Honky Tonk Angels.
