The Old Creamery has been in existence for over 36 years.  We offer a variety of performance possibilities.  We have a 300-seat proscenium theatre (main stage) for comedies and musicals.  We have a 99-seat three-quarter thrust theatre (depot stage) for more intimate experiences.  We include a Theatre for Young Audiences group that presents original works throughout the Midwest.  Finally, we have a lobby stage for audiences up to 75 where we present one-person performances and concert readings of works in progress. 

We are proud to be an Equity Theatre for over 25 years under an SPT Tier 6 Contract for our main stage and special appearance contract for our depot stage.  We run a TYA contract for our Theatre for Young Audiences tour.

The Old Creamery Theatre has always considered our performers important to the process of creating theatre.  Others join us as interns, go out and seek other experiences and then return time and time again.
